In 2016, I was awarded an Osher Fellowship through The California Academy of Sciences. The Academy invited me to their research instituted to create a body of work with their pioneering marine biologists about the Twilight Zone, a relatively unexplored layer of the ocean between 200 and 500 feet below the surface that hosts largely undiscovered species in the pre-glacial coral.  With the help of the institute’s biologists and veterinarians, I crafted a series of images and videos to share these new discoveries and methods for bringing them to the public through an exhibition and a rich media website called Biographic.
