In the summer of 2016, the Children’s Museum of Art exhibited Andrew’s “me | we,” a selection of works from the Earth series, as part of its exhibition “Mission to Space.” “Mission to Space” included works by a number of prominent artists including David Bowie, Masayoshi Sukita, Nina Katchadourian, and others.

Based on the imagery of the early space program and following the studio’s continuing investigation of our relationship to the natural world, Andrew’s works embodied a childlike fascination with space exploration and the profound sense of wonder that comes from considering the vastness of the unexplored and witnessing the otherness of what has been successfully explored.
