Ocean

The works in the Ocean series were created through an Osher Fellowship at The California Academy of Sciences in 2016. In a sense, Ocean fuses the expanded and more technically detailed pursuit Andrew took moving from Creature to Bird to Flower, with the exploration of the unknown in his later series. Some of these species were brought up from the Twilight Zone, a relatively unexplored layer of the ocean between 200 and 500 feet below the surface that hosts largely undiscovered species in the pre-glacial coral.
